Hello,

Does anyone know if it is normal for the cargo cover in the back to automatically retract each time that door/hatch area is opened? I just purchased a used cargo cover and noticed this occurred. Not sure if this is normal or if there is an issue with the cover.

Also, I purchased a new cargo net and it seems that you have to drill two holes in the interior to hold the top loops. The item came with a template to mark and drill your holes, but do you think I should seek a professional on this? Meaning have the dealer do it?

Has anyone installed the net and had any issues?

lilrx, the tonneau cover does retract when the tailgate is opened. That's normal operation. For the cargo net install, just use the template. No problems to do the install yourself. I've done it and had no problems. Save your money

you can set the cargo cover to retract each time the boot is opened or you can set it to not retract.

to set it to not retract automatically you have to pull and lock it behind the tabs that hold it closed
