Does anyone know if the dealer top up your gas if you are going in for the brake recall here in Canada?

why the posts on topping off/putting fuel in your car?? isnt the courtesy rental enough?

Lexus used to do it more often for recalls and the like. That's why I guess everyone is asking. For me, I've only gotten the tank filled once on the 300. It freaked the heck out of me out since I just came out of a car that had a gas gauge problem. I was thinking, no, not again. The dealer forgot to tell me.

My dealer told me that they top off the tank on any safety recall. I don't know if that is a Lexus practice or a local dealership thing.

I got topped off with gas for the brake light switch recall and now this brake recall.

I think it is a nice gesture and probably goes a long way towards cementing customer brand loyalty.
