Blue, good for you. I doubt that the dealership withheld the T cover on purpose so I would give them the benefit that an honest mistake was made right. Bottom line, it's the squeaky wheel that gets greased.

hell with customer satisfaction attitude. What online review you are referring to ?
Well for this case it was plan and simple. I also was fortunate that Lexus picked up $1500 bill for me when my A/C condenser was punctured 4 months in. I did the customer satisfaction sales survey online. I also complained about the dings on the car and end up having the dealer airbrush touch up all the nicks and nags, re-apply Xilon coating. Oh yea my sales guy was also dumb enough to tell me I can pay another 20k to get a new car if I didn't want any dings or scratches. I also included this meaningful comment on the survey, killed the salesman's raise big time and he got in trouble for that too.

I see a car seat. Do you protect your leather seat with something so the seat does not bite into your leather?

We have a car seat base in our vehicles and use a protective mat from Eddie Bauer. It has two tabs that slide in between the seat and the seatback and has a lot of rubber for protection from the base. Even has 2 pockets on the front for storage. I think she bought them at Babies R Us.

I did get the seat protectors from Babies R Us and I have the All Weather mat and the cargo net on order with Sewell Lexus. The forum member discount is great.

For a while they stopped selling all weather mats...due to the recall (even though it was not affected).

Was there a recall that had something to do with the all weather mat?

It had something to do with the Lexus problem, "stuck accelerator pedal".
