RX350 larger Rim/wheel size question
Does anyone know if the 2010 19" 7 spoke rims will fit on a 2008 RX350? Thanks!

Should fit w/o issues. Go check with tirerack.com and see if you can get an offset info for the 2010 RX. If the offset is the same, you are golden.

Yeah people including myslef have really pushed the envelope with wheels sizes and done fine. The ones I am trying to fit are 9's in the front and 10's in the rear! If it was not for the funky offsets I would say mine will fit to be sure! Thursday I am putting tires on them and testing them out. But I know yours will fit unless the offset is crazy. Too close or too far is where the problems start.
Update: I was sooo close. The wheels will fit fine. I just need a 5mm spacer in the rear like I suspected. So I highly doubt your going to have issues. My wheels are F. 21x9+26 R. 21x10+39.

So I bought the new 2010 lexus rx 19 inch rims and tires. However when I put them on they dont seem like the will be far out enough to clear the calipers/breaks. I was wondering how would I go abouts mounting them on. or will I have to go and sell them and get new ones?
The current measurements for the wheels/tires are 225/65/17 and 17x6.5
ad the ones I bought are 235/55/19 and 19x7.5
I dunno what the second measurements mean ex. (17x6.5) and (19x7.5)
any input? THANKS GUYS!

The second measurements are the sizes of the wheels. The first number indicates the size of the wheel, and the second indicates the width of the wheel.
In regard to fitment, are you saying that they are hitting the brake caliper when mounted? Is this the issue for both the front/rear brakes? If it is you have a couple of options.
1. Run spacers to push the wheels outward so you can clear the calipers (5mm, 10mm). Depending on the size (thickness), you may need to use extended studs. However, there are some spacers that have studs already attached to them.

2. Run an adapter. This is similar to a spacer but has the stud attached to it. Again, various sizes(thickness) are available.

3. If the clearance is very minimal, you can always grind down the part of the brake caliper that's touching the wheel.
Once you get the wheels mounted be sure to post pictures so we can see how it looks.

I ended up trying again and jacked the front end up and put both wheels on and spun the wheels to see if they clear. The wheels clear by maybe 1-2mm, which im not sure if I need more room. I drove the car around and didnt rub or anything. Still not sure if I should go and get spacers to give it a lil more gap between calipers/breaks and the spoke of the wheel. Let me know if its safe with that small a gap.
Here are the photos.
Dont mind the dirty car.

Wow, that's super close but if it clears it clears. No need to do anything else but put it on and drive, as long as you're sure it doesn't rub. If you want to really be on the safe side, you can use a thin spacer (5mm or less if they make). If you do, you might want to take note as to how many full turns you get with the oem lug nut. If you get less than 5 then you'll need to use a shank type lug nut which will give you more turns.
