Hey guys, I just bought a used 2008 RX 350 from a Lexus Dealership (84k kms, yeah a lot, and out of warranty), so had a few questions for the experts.

I did not purchase the extended warranty.

1. Since this model is the ultra-premium, it has the 11-speaker stereo. I noticed that the right front passenger speaker sounds muffled (in particular when it's the only one on, as a test). I guess it's blown and needs to be fixed at the dealer?

2. Will my regular service schedule automatically show up on the computer or do I need to do a reset?

I suggest you open up the door panel and see what's going on with the speaker (torn, detached voice coil, etc). Play some music with the panel off and you should be able to see/hear the problem. If it needs replacement then you can do it yourself and save a few bucks (order it through a dealer. We have some dealer vendors on this site, Carson and Sewell).

For the maintenance I'm sure the light will light up when it's time for service. Did the dealer service it before selling it to you?

Going to the dealer on Saturday anyway, so will have them check the speaker and the maint. calendar.

Since I bought it from Lexus, I know they did their 131-point check, but unsure if it was serviced beyond that.
