Default Need Help: Rear Door Weather Strip

I'm trying to find the part number for a piece of weather stripping that's on the upper leading edge of the rear door. I have the exploded drawing of the rear door and I'll be darned if I can tell what piece it is. This looks like a high wear part and I'm hoping someone out there in Lexus land has done this and has the part number. My nearest dealer is 65 miles away, too far for a "point and look", plus it looks user replaceable so I'd like to take a shot at it my self. Car is a 2007 RX350 although the part is probably the same on 330's. If you open the front door it's the rubber piece on the leading edge of the rear door up by the windows that partially covers the door jamb between the front and rear doors. I'd appreciate any help.

Probably best to take a picture of the actual bit you're talking about ecrane so that people can get a better visual about what piece you are talking about. Possibly highlight it in the picture as well.

He probably is referring to this piece. I also have a 2007 and noticed one of mine has split.

Bingo! That's the piece. It appears to slide into a channel on the door frame. The exploded drawing faxed to me by Iron Toad is of little help it's so poorly rendered. My hope was someone's done this or had it done and had the part number. Thanks cmichael.

There are exploded views of all our parts, find one on the net. I think Sewell has it already. You can find your exact part and price. Good luck.

I've looked at several, Iron Toad sent me the exploded drawing of the rear door, I've been to lexuspartsnow.com, it is very frustrating. Nothing I've looked at clearly shows this part. Here's what I'm looking at (link below). Can anyone clearly see the part shown in the photo so kindly posted by cmichael?

Maybe it's part of that black piece of trim. I'll look more closely tonght with that in mind.

Sorry for reviving an old thread. My searching led me here, and I have the same problem.

I think the part is 75708 (LH) Moulding subassembly, rear door window frame. It also has an indicated Screw, binding tapping 90080-16112 that goes with it.

My question is whether anyone has experience with removing and replacing this part. My look at the "screw" makes me think it is some kind of single use plastic rivet. But it isn't clear how to remove it and whether other pieces have to be removed first.

Thanks in advance for any help!
