Default Most common Causes of coolant leaks on 2007 rx350

Hi my rx 350 is leaking coolant ,and I want to know most common causes!? the small plastic reservoir is bone dry ,but the radiator still has coolant ! I am taking the car to the mechanic mon. The 24th ! I will know for sure ,but it’s staying parked till that time !? I am just curious if any other fellow Lexus RX (2nd gen) have had any similar problems? I know the water pump is a common problem ! No water pump trouble yet , so maybe the water pump!? Thanks look forward to feed back !

it could be the water pump and or possibly the t-stat. Also have u checked all hoses etc? oddly enough; ive had my rx for a bit over 3 years now and havent had a issue like this thankfully. and i would be totally screwed if this happened to me as my current rx is my only way to get around short of uber/lyft. But i would rather avoid having to go that route.

x2^^^ Check the plastic tanks that attach to the radiator......I'd replace it w/ a all alloy radiator.
