Oil Leak help to itentify
Changing my oil and I noticed oil dripping from these 2 screws see attached photo could someone identify what this is that it's leaking from?
I tightened the screws a little and it slowed the drips of oil.
Is this a gasket issue?
Is this a DIY project or needs to be taken to a repair shop?
Can I try the Lucas stop oil leak for this?
Thanks for the input

This thread might help: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...s-leaking.html
I had oil there when my rear valve cover gasket started leaking. The oil worked it's way down to that point. If you remove that plate and find oil inside, it it likely the rear main seal which requires pulling the transmission.

OP, You didn't say what type of Gen 2 RX you have. If it's an RX350, whenever I read or hear of an oil leak, the first thing I check is the oil cooler lines. The reason, if they fail, it's catastrophic. The engine dumps all the oil in less than a minute. The source of your leak is probably what the earlier posts said, but if its a 350, please check the cooler lines. If it's a RX330 or R400, disregard this post.
