Default Rust on body chipped by rocks

As I was washing my rx350 today, I noticed that there was some rust on the body where a rock had chipped off the paint. This was near the front left tire. There are actually quite a few places with rock chips on the paint all over the front bumper and hood, but I could only find this one spot that had the orange/brown rust on it.

How bad is it?

My other car is 10 years old and has numerous spots of rust where the paint was chipped off by rocks and it doesn't seem to have spread much. I just want to make sure that it's not a problem on my much nicer car

It's best to touch these up as soon as you find them. Not only does Lexus use paint that is too soft, it doesn't galvanize the sheet metal.

Where is a good place to get touch up paint? I'm guessing there are places cheaper than the dealership...?

Do I get a bottle? A spray? A pen? So many options when I google it.

Will the spray work better for some of the lighter scratches (cause by the key scraping the paint)? These are not chips.

I could not find 'Lexus' exact color paint at any store, so I ordered the little paint bottle/brush from the dealer.

From my experience, the paint pens have the best control & give you the best DIY results.

The ones at the dealer should be the ones you can buy from the auto store, too. made by Duplicolor. They match well.

not trying to jack the thread-but I just touch paint from the dealer a couple of weeks ago and it cost $11 with tax. Im not sure how much more can you save by buying it else were.
