Default Light Gray Leather Seats Turning Yellow!

I have a 2009 350 & the light gray seats & armrests are turning yellow. I haven't put any type of cleaner on them, just wiped down w/ a little soap & water. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the yellowing without striping the color?

Take the car to the dealer and have them replace seats and armrests under warranty?

i second that, when i worked at acura, the RSX leather was terrible, wearing way too fast, we were replacing the seat covers left right and centre. funniest part was the price, 900 per peice, thats 3600 bucks per car we were doing, plus labour.

i would push for as many covers as possible, because the new ones wont match the old ones.

Got pics?

I would try some Lexol or the Lexus leather conditioner/cleaner. If that doesn't' work take it to Lexus and show them.

I've been in multiple Lexus with grey leather old and new, never saw any "yellow"/.

Might be the soap and water affecting the finish. It could be drying out the protective coating Lexus puts on the seat or something. People say not to bother to condition the seats but it helps to anyway

I have the same problem in my 2007 350 that we just purchased last week. There is some 'yellowing' on the sides. I took it to Lexus and they said that it was probably due to 'lotions' or other chemicals reacting to the leather. I bought the car used and did a good cleaning of all the leather with Lexol (great stuff too) and it didn't take it out. Lexus told me that they could have their leather guy airbrush some color back on. I'm sure that will come at a pretty penny...

If it was that way when u bought it u should have had the dealer clean it before paying. U would be surprised how fast they would have been cleaned.

Buying a pre-owned vehicle is like buying an existing home: A home is location, location, and location: A vehicle is inspect, inspect, inspect and then negotiate.
Sorry you have a problem and good luck solving it.
