ASL feature onthe radio?
I have the ASL feature on my radio set to on.I read in the manual that its supposed to raise/lower the sound etc. as needed.Well I must say,I dont think it works.I alway`s have to turn it up/down for my liking.I had a 2003 GM vehicle that had three settings for this feature,(hi,med,low)and it worked very well.it was very sensitive.Also,the GM radio used to display (automaticly) what was playing on the radio.(with out pressing the text button) Oh well,what do I expect for 44k (brand new) right?

On my 04, there is a little chart on the screen that shows the ASL. I agree that it doesnt work too well as I often have to increase the volume as I drive on the freeway.
Also I get the text on the screen too, but it depends on the station
