They got rid of it for '08? That makes no sense. My '07 has one, it's a green "O" with starbursts coming out of it, just above the odometer. Here are two pictures of it in a 2008, in fact:

 

That is the headlight indicator. Fog light has a O with a vertical line going through a bunch of horizontal start bursts. My BMW has this indicator light and is on the RX350's light stalk where you manually rotate the **** to turn them on but no indicator light on the instrument panel.

Yeah my BMW has that one too. I always assumed that was the Lexus version of the fog light indicator, since I've never seen a headlight indicator. But my foglights are ALWAYS on (assuming the headlights are), so I guess that explains it. I'll have to check it tonight.
