Windows don't work.
Hey guys,
I had to disconnect the battery and now the all the windows except the driver's side don't work. The auto function doesn't work on the driver's side and the light on the button flashes. Anyone experienced this before? Thanks |
To reset the windows after disconnecting the battery:
Go to the local switch at each window (not from the driver's door) and manually run the window full down then full up. This must be done at each door as each window is individually manually reset by doing this. The windows will then operate automatically from both the local switch on each door and the remote switches on the driver's door. |
This is on the owner's manual too

Rainbird is right, after you disconnect your battery you'll have to follow the directions to reset it. You'll probably have to reset the moonroof also since you disconnected your batter.

I tried to run the windows through a full cycle, but the driver's side was the ony that worked period. I went through the cycle on that one and nothing. Other windows wouldn't move, not even at the local switch. I checked to see if the "window lock" button on the driver's side was pushed and it wasn't, so all windows should be active.
Moonroof works, but again, went through the cycle, still no auto open/close working. |
Really? Are you sure all you disconnected was the battery? lol..:D If that's the case, I'm not quite sure, because it seems since some of your windows aren't working even at local switches could be that you triggered the wiring or something. You should maybe take it to the dealer to get it checked out.
