Default Installing OEM XM kit in 2006 rx400h

I recently returned my 2008 IS250 and purchased a 2006 RX400H. I removed the OEM XMradio from the is250. Do anyone know if I can install it in the RX? I know Laxus didnt offer it in this model year. Can I buy the install kit, part# 86100-0W160. It comes with the wiring harness and antenna.

Thanks.
Chris

Bump...

Was this ever answered?

I have a 2006 RX330 with NAV - non ML - and I prefer the factory install to the VAIS Tech, but I am getting mixed messages with all the research I am doing. VAIS emulation compatibility guide says 2005 and above radios in the RX can emulate satellite. However, most genuine parts stores show 86100-0W160 as being compatible with only 2007 and above.

Seems like a few users have mentioned getting it to work in 2005-2006 vehicles even though the AM button doesn't say "SAT", it gains the functionality after install.

I am thinking about this as a Christmas gift for momma but I don't want to buy the parts unless I know they will work.
