I did at my Lexus dealer when I took delivery; I am sure they can do it. It is expensive, but worth every penny. After 4 years the front one has taken a beating. I might get it replaced.

The various films are outstanding - I think all are the same material, various manufacturers may cut them a bit differently. All provide good protection, and if installed correctly, will be nearly invisible and last for several years. The front end of your RX is particularly vulnerable to rock chips, around and just behind the grill. Most bug deflectors don't give you the kind of coverage you need, and IMHO, most are REALLY ugly. As triplecore said, expensive but well worth the investment.

Use the clear bra instead of the bug deflector. Not only does it look way better, it provides a lot more protection if done right. Don't buy it from the dealer as they only do a portion of the job for a higher price than an independent shop. Go to any reputable clear bra/window tinting shop to have it installed. On my RX, I had them do the hood, front fenders, the entire front fascia (bumper), headlight lenses, fog light lenses and the front of the side mirrors for about $500. Well worth the cost for the protection it provides and if anything ever happens to the film the shop will replace it for free.

I am not a fan of bug-deflector, but it is supposed to do more than the film. The film just protects the paint, while the deflector in addition is supposed to change the air flow and move all light objects away from the wind shield.

i would go with the clear bra. it protects the entire front of the car not only from bugs but potential paint chips.

Bug deflector perhaps does better job than film "deflecting bus", but it will lower MPG and looks awful.

+1 on clear film. maybe lean towards a deflector if i thought it would do a much better job of protecting but, as others said, I don't think it does.

Film, definitely. I learned it the hard way, got a chip on the hood. My clearbra was $550 installed. I know, it's cheaper than most people pay. My window tint guy did it and I am a long-time costumer there. It is worth every penny.

I don't think the deflector is that ugly, but the clear film seems better from what people have said here.

Clear film all the way. Had it done & it looks great because it is hard to tell it is on.
