Just to clarify, has this worked on a vehicle equipped with ML ?

I have a 2008 RX400h w/ ML but it is UK spec, is this likely to make a difference ?

Many thanks for any insight

Would anyone be kind enough to tell me what specific function the wires being cut in the first part of the guide are supposed to serve ? Would like to replicate the process on a UK spec vehicle but there is a chance the unit may be configured differently, so could someone enlighten me how best to identify the appropriate wires ? Would a car audio specialist be able to do this quite easily ?

Many thanks

You should be able to do the "volume" screen secret override. See other posts in this forum for details. I wish Lexus would have kept that one in...

as far as the ipod goes, prior to making these changes i could not do much other than song up or down. Now i can select folder, playlist and browse thru songs and select the one i like. Again i let my passenger do this most of the times so i can concentrate on the driving.
Hi, will this hack enable the Vasitec to display ipod video files while in motion?

it will not work with ML system. I have been trying to help another member with ML but none of the wires are same. I have even bought the wiring diagrams for ML system that show same wires on paper but when you take the system apart the wires are different. so I don't think this will work for you.
If anyone with ML system has access to full wiring diagram and wants to share it with me i will look at it again and see if i can come up with any thing

I've 04 RX with rear DVD. If I do the bluebooth wire hack, would that also enable the display of dvd video on the front screen while in motion (by pushing the disc button)? Thanks.
