would be interesting to slide a 0.005 or 0.010 inch piece of metal , (from hardware store) or maybe even paper, under the seat track , and retighten the holddown bolts, to see if that changes the noise at all.
or loosen holddown bolts a 1/2 turn or so to see if that is any effect.

maybe unrelated -I once owned a 67 VW square back that had a click where the lower edge of the dash was welded to the side of the car, fix was to bend it slightly with vice grips, problem went away. maybe caused by not enought weld length at that point.

odd some lexus dealers are ignoring it.

Long time for this thread
I fixed it myself,,,took the seat out,,put some grease, just tightened some bolts there, just a smidge each one,I think they balanced the movement and how far the seat will move on the track,,put back and tightened again and never heard it again

I was told on every Toyota or Lexus I have owned after the warranty was over, that they don’t cover the parts repaired or reported under warranty since technically they paid for the repair. Not sure if that is the case here.

but also I have had this issue with every Toyota/Lexus vehicle I have owned

08FJ CRUISER
10 Camry
12 Camry
13 Venza
and now 17 RX350 Fsport

had a BMW in between never had an issue

always told by the stealership that they couldn’t replicate the issue
