Drop it like it's hot.......
Well, I'm having a frustration right now. I want to lower the RX-400h but I'm not sure what lowering kit I should get. In addition to that, I'm not sure if I lower the car it might screw up the VSC system or VDIM. Any opinions, suggestions...?

Not sure if I would have the same issues with a RX350, but I have the same questions, as I'm a car lowering newbie.

Yea, hopefully someone can pitch in their thoughts on the situation. But, as I was browsing through the internet before I found the 714 Motorsports design of the RX400h, and apparently they have lowered it with the Eibach springs. Heres a link:

"Overgrown Pontiac Vibe"... haha, that's funny... I think it looks okay, but obviously too over-the-top for my tastes. Yeah, I researched the Eibach springs and it looks to be the top choice.

is your rx equipped with adjustable air suspension?

Looks like eibach allows a 1.2 inch drop. I think if I'm not wrong |

LexMex? Where are you? :uh:
Intrax was the one I was originally going to put on my RX300, but I may keep mine as is. http://www.tte.de/popup/Lexus/cm_lex...ingsprings.htm http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe...01779200014351 There was another company, but for some reason they have errors every time I try to pull up their springs, http://www.b-gsuspension.com/springs.php Espelir and kg/mm were two other companies that come to mind, but I don't have direct links and the latter I think was out of Japan. |

Not sure what the question is, but after seeing this thread, I know lowering shouldn't affect anything that was mentioned. My uncle and I used to install lowering springs on a lot of vehicles with my cousins. However, we wouldn't use them on any vehicle that had air suspension (which was rare back in Mexico for most of what we worked on).

Keep in mind, the the inches we are talking about is quite minimal. And in addition, keep in mind that a lot of people put different size tires on these vehicles, that in effect can raise or lower the vehicle. And in addition, of course, the springs will move up and down depending on the conditions. You should have seen my RX300 on my move over to Florida. Lil4X can testify to this as he saw exactly how low my RX was based on how much stuff we had tucked into it.
