Factory is H11 Phillips bulb, pretty weak, I tried PIAA Extreme White, it's a bit better but not enough and for the price you paid for PIAA bulb might as well pay for the $60 35Watt HID conversion kit.

Went with yellow 3000K HID's for my girlfriend's RX. The 3000K are golden so I added yellow tint to make it more yellow.

The low-beam bulbs were also changed to 6000K and the DRL/High-beam bulb changed to LED.

Here are a couple of pix:

finally got home and installed my lights. Went with all LED interiors, 5000k ebay HID fogs, yellow Nokyo high beams, white LED driving lights. Here's the pics. I white balanced the camera to the OEM low beam HIDs. The yellow Nokyo's still dont represent well in the images, they look alot more "hyper yellow" in real life. The 5000k fogs are quite a bit more blue than the OEM low beams.

i was also going to install my new thundercloud grille but UPS cracked the corner in half during shipping ><! now waiting to see how to deal with it with the buyer. I HATE YOU ups!

seller should have UPS insurance. The seller needs to deal with UPS to get a claim which can take up to 8 weeks, I had similar problem before with UPS scratching my OZ wheel
the online wheel store got me a new replacement after he got his claim money from UPS

it didnt work out, I had the grille sent to my vacation address down in the states. It arrived 2 days before i left, i just pulled it out and looked at it quickly and put it in the box. I also threw out the large outter box it came in and took the inside box with bubble wrap and drove back up to canada.

so now i dont have the orignal packaging and am in a different country and they wont accept it. The seller was kind enough to give me a $100 refund to offset the damages and i installed it. Once on the car you cant really tell unless you look closely and there's a line where the crack is. Im happy with a $130 thundercloud grille with a line at the corner I guess when the sun and water eats away at the crack and cause it to peel years down the road, i can either filler it and paint the grill body color or get a new one.

I found a local shop that does plastic plating and got a quote of $600 to fix the grille + rechrome the plastic... LOL

$600 ?? wow you can buy 2 for that kind of money. Well at least you got some money back and if you can live with the defect then don't worry about it.

haha ya i put it on the way it is and put a thin strip of clear nail polish over it so it wont start peeling when water gets in. kinda ugly when you look close but cant notice from far.

ya $600 is nuts, but in north america, labor > parts. haha

I bought a pair of what is said to be great quality Höen Endurance Fog Light Bulbs.Hoens bulbs are used in BMW's and probably Audi and Mercedes.
Going to try and get them in Saturday.
I was going to go with yellow PIAA ION Plasma but read good things about Hoen in a comparison on forums and the PIAA's are $65-$75 shipped. The Hoens $48 shipped.
