I am contemplating on removing my cross bars. When they replaced my cross bars last time, they screwed up the molded plastic, they probably did not have the patience to follow the procedure on how to replace it. So it pisses me off to put in straps to secure the plastic covers.

With this post, now I know how to get the trim off. I will get my cross bars off and see how it looks. Definitely will cut wind noise.

why did they replace your crossbars?
