okay, you cant really trust car sources since its a bunch of middle aged men sitting at a cubicle writing something based on speculation; mostly who know nothing about lexus.

based on the trends of the RX:
1)the RX is the best selling model in the lexus line-up. they the last model (rx300) lasted for 4 years as will this model. they have to keep doing it quickly because its bread and butter of their line up
2)the RX has always come out in march/april
3)a refresh the previous year (2008 rx350) usually signals that they are going to change the car but are tricking people into buying the last year model by providing those small upgrades.

Autoweek has recently reported: "RX 350: A redesign comes in early 2009 as a 2010 model. Expect a slight increase in size."

The improvement on the 08 Highlander is amazing and so will the RX,.. Wait for the 09 RX and you will NOT regret it..

 

I have seen "Autoweek" more than once refer to the new RX 350 as a 2010 model appearing in early 2009!

What does Lexus say? One would think they would let customers know.

 

I would wait until they work out the bugs..usually takes couple of years, even for Lexus. I am happy with my 08'.
