Cool Scratch on Black Panel Between Windows

Hi there! I'm brand new to this forum. I have a small scratch on the black shiney panel between the windows on the driver's side. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it disappear? I have a 2004 RX330. Thanks.

Are you talking about the door frame where the B pillar is. If you are, the door frames are actually tape. So you can always try fixing the problem with touch up paint if its a small scratch

The Wife of my work colleagues assembles that tape to the door. She will not be happy to hear that you scratched it!

That tape is a PITA to replace. By body shop guy is really good and does local show cars. He had a hell of a time and it still wasn't perfect if you looked closely. If it is the vertical part between the two doors though, and the scratch isn't that deep, just try using some scratch X or other mild compound and polish it out. I've done that in our 04 RX many times with great results.
