btw those tires are huge!
The 5-spoke graphite 18's are my fav. I think they are the hottest looking stock rims Lexus has put out. (Well, maybe a close tie w/ the GS430)

The new shoes look like they're 19's!

I see dual exhaust on the LF-X concept but not on the spyshots.

Edit: on second examination actually it's on both, integrated on the LF-X and exposed on the RX mule.

I had the graphite rims on mine with the PP. I sold that car for my 08 and I have to say the new Liquid Graphite 18" are sweet and my favorite

I've been wondering the same thing. A couple of years down the line, perhaps?

It would make sense to space the new launches out...if the 'VX' LF-X appears.

Not too familiar with the 3rd row business but wouldn't it signal the impending LF-X if the new RX came without the 3rd row option?

I definitely think so.

So is it going to be available in the Spring of 2008 (Edmunds article) or Spring of 2009(thecarconnection article)?
Thanks.

Given the super-early launch of the 2008 Lexus RX350, I'd say the Edmunds' article is correct. In fact, I'm willing to bet that what The Car Connection really meant to say was:

"The RX will be undergoing a major update for the 2009 model year, with production beginning in late December of 2007, toward an on-sale date of early spring of 2008."

Default Next generation of RX

Will it be the next generation of RX for 2009 model? New RX is supposed to be getting bigger so it can have three rows of seats, the same 3.5 liter V6 as the current model, making it an RX350, as well. The engine will grow to 3.7 liters after two years, when a 400 plus horsepower hybrid variant is introduced. Both engines should be hooked up to a new six-speed automatic transmission. Again, the RX will come standard with front wheel drive and offer all-wheel drive as an option.

I really hope the new RX will look that nice, it has a Mercedes look to it. Definitely looks more sporty. I would buy that ASAP!

Very interesting info, if it's true. An RX-F would be a good competitor for the Infiniti FX, BMW X5 and would make the rumoured Lexus JX frankly redundant. I hope Lexus doesn't make the JX and instead makes two wheelbases for the RX and maybe an F model.

I got this information straight from the source. There are a few other items I'm waiting to get confirmation or hands on experience with before I add those (including any official target dates for the F line rollouts).

Have you heard of any official word about a crossover larger than the RX, like the rumoured JX?
