Grid for rear view camera?
Is there supposed to be a grid when the rear view camera activates? Cause on my rx350 I don't see any grid, just some wording about how things are closer than they seem. Am I missing some settings or something? I thought I read something about the grids being handy for parking.

Only in some foreign versions (I think Europe and Asia) of this vehicle, not the North American version.
I assume you are talking about this:

I was wondering this myself. We drove a FX45 before purchasing the RX350 and I thought the camera on the FX was better because of the grid. You could easily tell if the FX was lined up with the parking spot. On the RX, its hard without the grid lines. I wish it had that as well.

I'm not ungrateful for the backup camera, by any means. On its own, its a great feature. However, I wonder what Lexus was thinking when they decided to incorporate parking assistance gridlines on the RX350 in some countries, but not in others. I would have loved to have this feature on my RX350, and would have paid a little extra if the issue was price.
