Default Acceleration and Braking Issues

Hey guys,
I am new to the forum, and have a couple of issues with my 2004 RX330. The first deals with accelerating:

I have the FWD version of the car, and while accelerating from a turn, the car peels out even if I am driving slowly (I'm not trying to peel out)...Then, while driving, should i need to accelerating rapidly, the car pulls to the right, and its difficult to steer. I realize that the car is from wheel drive, but does it have a differential that allows both front wheels to spin? It feels like all of my acceleration comes from one wheel.

Once the car gets rolling, everything is wonderful.

Heres my next issue: The brakes.

Is it just me, or are the brakes on this car pretty weak? The brakes seem overly sensitive. If i press a little on the pedel, the car will begin to slow suddenly, jerking the vehicle forward slightly. If i really need to stop quickly, I find that the brakes lock up and that I am unable to stop as quickly enough. In other words, I feel like the brakes only have one "stopping strength".

Is anyone else experiencing issues such as these?

Thanks,
Alex
