Default Any problems running BFG 235/50/18's?

I was looking at BFG G force KDWS in the size 235/50/18's for my 2005 RX 330. Will that affect anything dropping the side wall down to 50 series vs 55? Also, is there any negative effects for running high perf tires like the BFG KDWS? Its on special right now for a great price and i wasnt sure if you can run just any tire or does it specifically have to be a light truck tire. I have those BFG KDWS on my sports car and they are AMAZING tires and wouldnt mind having them on my lexus if it works.

no prod with the handling when I did mine. I did add a 5mil spacer, not 100% if they rub the whell well without the spacer.

235s will not rub and no spacer is required. If you move up to a 255 width tire then you might need the spacer. The only problem you would have is that the 50 is a little shorter and will induce a slight speedometer error.

Here's a nice tire size and rolling diameter comparison site that will calculate the likely speedometer error http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp
