Default Current RX Body Style

The current RX body style premiered with the 2004 model. Anyone know when Lexus intends to fully redesign this body style? Thanks.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe model year 2009 to be introduced the beginning of 2008.

Default 2009 RX ? LF-X Concept?

I second that. As with most imports, Toyota/Lexus typically has a 5-year model cycle. The RX300 debuted as a 99 to 2003 model. We can expect 2008 to be the last of the current RX series, and 2009 to be the next gen.

Nothing written in stone, but this looks to me like what we can expect in the next gen RX., and with a V8.

What do you think?

I think it will be damn hard to put anything in the rear through that small opening and minimal space.

No sir, that is the GS based Sportier RWD/AWD SUV/crossover that from my sources is CONFIRMED. Expect hyrbid power as an option. Not sure what it will be called yet.

The current RX is selling so WELL and Lexus is so PLEASED with the design, they might stretch it another year or two after 2009, is what I hear internally.

You can tell they are happy as the 1RX 300 got a significant revision where the front and rear lights changed as the grill. With the 2RX 330 to 350, outside of badges, you can't tell a thing!!

And the 2RX has been a 330, now 350 and 400h.
