Are the 7 spoke an upgrade? I know the 6 spoke is the standard. And I see the 5 spoke as upgrade, likewise the 7 spoke liquid graphite. Does somebody know? I still see a bunch of 5 spoke 08's. I seldom see an 07 with a 7 spoke rim. I see the 08's (chrome handles) with 7 spoke rims all the time.

For the 2008 RX, the 6 spoke 17" wheels are standard. However, most dealerships only carry the upgraded 18" wheels with 5 spoke or 7 spoke wheels. Most '08 RX's stocked with the navigation comes with the 7 spoke. The non navigation are mostly stocked with the 5 spoke. For 2009, I know that the 18" 7 spoke wheels are available. I haven't yet seen the brochure so I don't know if the 5 spoke wheels are offered. Depending on the exterior color, I personally like the 5 spoke wheels better. To me, its cleaner and more elegant looking.

From what I can tell in the 08 printed brochure, there seems to be 4 wheel designs in '08:
6 spoke 17" standard - on base/non-leather RX
5 spoke 18" option - comes with most non-Nav packages
5 spoke 18" polished - option, comes with Perfomance pckg or 400h
7 spoke 18" option comes with most Navs
...but I'm a newb, so feel free to correct me!

First post here, just traded the 2000 RX 300 with 62k miles for a new 2008 RX350, Breakwater Blue, 7 spoke Liquid Graphite, Nav and most everything else. So far we love the new version of the RX that we fell in love with. Dealer was Roseville Lexus. I would like to here any comments about this dealer also, Good or Bad. So far the sale was good I am interested in the service department as this dealer is farther from home than others.

Traded in a 2001 rx300 with 67,000 miles on it for a Flint/Black. Really liked the 300 and wasn't sure I wanted to do it. The 2008 rx350 is technically another league! No regrets!

I got my Lexus in September of 06. Loving it!!!
It's silver with black leather interior and I got the Ultra Premium Package which includes the sat nav, dvd player, adaptive headlights, etc. My only regret is not getting the 18" wheels!

LOL! How sad is it that I don't have any pics!! Not of the car by itself anyways! OK we are in the middle of a snow storm right now but as soon as the weather gets better I will get some pics up there!
