Default It is working correctly

It is suppose to disconnect. After disconnecting, then tell the phone to send your phonebook contact, it will then ask what device - you tell it your car handfree system and it will reconnect and send.

Default cellphone

i am not a sony ericson owner or fan, however the mobile electronics specialist at my dealer says he has the best luck with the sony ericson phones. remember if you are a verizon user they do disable some bluetooth functions on their phones and that might be part of the problem.
Just as a point of information he has not found a Samsung phone that will consistently work correctly with the Lexus systems. Full disclosure i own and use a Treo 650 in my 400h. Some people purchase or borrow sony ericson phones to load the contact lists on their Lexus and then continue to use their preferred phone.

.
I can attest to this problem. My wife and I were Verizon customers for nearly 5 years (out of contract a long time ago) and Verizon wouldn't do anything to help us. We just bought a 2006 LX470 and actually ended up having to switch to Cingular just to get something that worked. The interesting thing is that we still have Motorola RAZR phones but now all the features work.
