It's all the family! No worries man.

Deep down, you know the Lexus is a Toyota (or so they say) .

Some of those 'imitation; Lexuses have some pretty cool features like that blind spot mirror and I also remember reading about a tiptronic gear shifting configuration in the Harriers (that I could really use on the drag strip).

I would that the tiptronic shifting would be slower than to let the tranny shift itself. As there is some delay between the shifter to the transmission, through the cars computer systems, or whatever it is.

The tiptronic on Mercedes is like a tenth of a second slower than letting it shift by itself. And in racing, a tenth is a lot.

You're right .1 is certainly a lot in racing, especially with the RX300. That kind of sucks that the shifter isn't more responsive, but alas nobody figured someone would race an RX300 anyway.

Yeah...we don't have it over here, but I have seen a lot of people in Asia just put a cover over it. I wouldn't want it since it is an air dam under racing conditions...same reason I fold in both of my mirrors.

The mirrors on the RX are pretty big. That's what I like about them. Now how about signal mirrors, or signals in the fenders?

My mirrors whistle a lot especially when a pretty lady walks by.
