I got a questionnaire in the mail for Maritz Research . They knew that I have a new RX and send a dollar with the survey .Has anyboby else got one from these bozos or is this a buch of bull

Marketers of timeshares, investment schemes, and questionable charities will pay big bucks for a pipeline to you! HINT: that dollar is a test of your integrity - it's supposed to make you feel that you owe them something.

Here's how to fix 'em: Don't respond to the survey - it's like answering spam. You will find yourself up to your neck in "exclusive offers". If the dollar works on your conscience, use it to buy a 99-cent fast food special and hand it to a street person, or give it to your favorite charity - in the name of the marketing company. That may not beat them, but it'll sure confuse 'em!

 

i got the same thing last week for the GS. no dollar though! what's up with that.

i've gotten a crisp dollar bill w/ survey from JD Powers before, which i thought was a nice touch. don't remember if i responded, but JD Powers is pretty reputable, and they do the dollar thing too.
