What size is the day light driving bulb on 05 RX 330? Also, does anyone know where i can get replacements for these with blue tints??

 

The DRL bulb in our 300 is a 9005. Its quite possible the same for your 330.

Any "blue tint" type of bulb could be found on Ebay. However its not recommeded.
Check out the lighting forum. There is a writeup and test with picture of different types of "blue" halogen bulbs.

 

My understanding is that the DRL are the same as high beam bulbs but the circuit is modified by relays to run less juice through them, resulting in not_so_bright_light.

If you replace them, your night time high beam gets affected too. And most important factor is the day_light time color will be different as the bulbs do not get the full 12volts.

aren't 9005's the high beams? I'm looking for the size on the little bulb on top of high beam..

 

sorry about confusing here.. Just checked the car and salimshah is right.. DRL light is the high beam and what i was looking for turned on when headlights were on..
Now, do you know what size that little bulb is?

 

MMM I think you are talking about the "parking lights"
Those are 168 or 198. (I am confusing the number, but its one of those bulbs)
