Looks good. $1500 is too much for exhaust, $ to HP ratio is too high

 

Looks okay; wish there were a pic from a back-stance. It probably looks off with the right-side tip not aligned w/ the bumper cut out...

I plan on doing dual exhaust for my 99 to eliminate some of the backpressure from all the air I have been sucking in from my mod.

 

Earlier today, I had my buddies at a local performance shop here in Mexico City to ditch my exhaust resonator.

In its place, we put my APC muffler, just after the cat and the the last O2 sensor.

Next, we used a 2.5 inch diameter pipe (Lexus uses 2 inch) and ran almost a straight pipe to a Miller twin exhaust tip where the muffler used to be.

Doing a twin exhaust set up, left and right side, would have been more for show in the end.

Is it loud?

In the mid-range of throttle it is actually louder than when I floor it at open throttle, except on the open highway. Then it goes into hyperspace.

It is not much louder than before, though it has a very small grumble at idle.

In all my driving life, I have never experienced such a thrill. My RX keeps getting faster and faster.

When my 1/4 mile track opens again the following weekend, I will let you know any difference in my times.
