Default Determining my official paint color

I have seen the ads at Club Lexus before for the touch up paint pens that are available. Everything I have read indicates that these work very well. This may sound like a dumb question, but here goes: I want to order a couple of these to fix a couple of chips, but obviously want to make sure that I get the correct colors. Is there something on the ID plate of the car or wherever that says what the official names of the colors are? I am trying to avoid having to go to the dealership if possible. Thanks in advance for your responses.

I just came across this list of 2004 RX330 Colors:

062 White Pearl Crystal
1C0 Millennium Silver Metallic
1E0 Flint Mica
202 Black Onyx
4R4 Savannah Metallic
6T1 Bamboo Pearl
6T3 Black Forest Pearl
8R6 Breakwater Blue Metallic
8R7 Neptune Blue Mica
8R8 Blue Mica Metallic

I believe the part number for touch-up paint is 00258-00xxx, where xxx is the code above.

Default Beware

I ordered those pens with the correct code but the color was wrong for my white. The silver was ok. Now my paint chip is a yellowish white rather than a clean white for my 01. I'm going to the dealer to buy the correct white and hopefully, will be able to fix it.

Thanks Hopeful. I will make sure and do a test of the color first before applying. Did you complain to the paint pen manufacturer about this? If so, what did they say? They are very explicit in saying that they match the factory colors and I have seen several posts on this board where customers were satisfied. In fact, CL even ran a feature article about these a few months ago on the front page of the website.

Default Too lazy

No, I didn't complain...too lazy. Like I said, the silver was fine, the white was off.
