I had the Weapon-R intake with cold-air box on my RX300. It was certainly louder than stock.; I loved the sound (most of the time). Sometimes, I found myself just wanting a quiet ride, but overall it sounds great. The installation process was completely reversible, so if I tired of the sound, I just switched back to OEM.

I don't know for the RX330 specificially, but with my 3.0 liter, I noticed an increase in power above 3k rpm under moderate to heavy acceleration. It was as if an extra kick of power was there right at 3k rpm.
