Default replace dimming side mirror with generic non dimming?

Have an 09 rx350 that uses the dimming side mirrors. Unfortunately it's about $500 canadian just for the mirror itself. Given the car is pretty old, was seeing if there are any cheap options.

Can the generic aftermarket that doesn't support dimming work? (e.g it would still be heated and able to move?) Note i am referring to just the glass portion.

Thanks,

Hi, it's been my experience with the Self Dimming Lexus Mirrors, that the glass turns colors, and the Vision becomes Distorted!!
The aftermarket Heated Mirror Glass, works Great!
It's Easy to Replace and it's Easy to See Out of, and it's Heated!

If you're buying aftermarket I highly recommend to take some precautions for comparability so you don't waste time and money.

(1): pull the mirror and take good pics of the plugs on the mirror

(2): when shopping online, compare the plugs.

Reason why is because there are 3 versions for our side mirrors. They will all bolt on but they don't all have the same plug/pins used.

I lost the heated mirrors when I replaced mine, something I can live without. 🐋
