My transfer case is leaking. It gets about half low and every 5,000 miles got to top it off. From what I'm looking at for book time, and I'm showing either 10 hours or 18 hours. Has anybody ever changed the transfer case? Is there a shortcut?

 

Not a fun job, transmission has to come out. I'd get the more reliable 07-09 RX350 viscous coupler transfer case and throw new seals at that. I'm not sure why but there's a lot less reported failures on those
