Hello fellow RX owners ,

Meta:

• had the car for about 5 years
• 136K miles
• suspension work done: both rear wheel bearing assemblies, breaks
• pardon my English

I'm moderately concerned with a rather strange sound seemingly originating from the back. It's been coming and going, and what is especially interesting, it only appears when I'm making a sharp-ish right turn, and the rustling amplitude is in sync with the spinning wheels. Sounds like as if the breaks were a little rusty after a week of parking.

Went to my go-to mechanic, who is not too proficient with treating hybrids (maybe it's time I found a new one, I know...), his opinion was "maybe something with the rear diff". Not too reassuring, hence this post before I seek another mechanic's opinion. Breaks were my first culprit, but both front, rear and emergency/parking ones have been done recently.
