rx 330 power rear door question
have any of you guys had problems with your power rear door? when i first got the thing, i had to mess around with it before finally realizing that ALL doors must be unlocked before the rear door will open/close. now today i press my remote, and nothing happens. i mess with it (press the on/off switch in the glove compartment, open and close it manually)..then finally it starts working again with the remote. i love the feature of not having to reach up and closing the hatch, but im just wondering if any other people are wondering why all the fuss when wanting to open/close the thing (having to have all doors unlocked).

I also don't like the fact that all doors must be unlocked for the rear door to open.
That's why I've had the customizable settings (C-Best settings) controlling the door locks modified. Specifically, I changed two things:
1. Unlock ALL doors when car is shifted into park.
2. Unlock ALL doors when the remote unlock button is pressed ONCE.
This way, you never have to worry about unlocking ALL the doors, since they'll ALL be unlocked whenever the car is in park or you unlock the doors yourself.
Also, remember, you need to hold the rear door button down for about a second in order to open the rear door.

How did you get all the doors to be unlocked by pressing the remote only once? We just recieved our bamboo pearl rx 330 and love the car. We just hate having to press the unlock button twice on the remote.

I've had the same problem. I made sure that all of the doors were unlocked, toggled the switches in the glovebox and dash to no avail. The only thing that seems to 'jog' the remote is to open the hatch manually. After that, it seems to work fine. It is a pain in the butt though.
