Default replacing RX300 headlights

Hi,

I just bought a pair of Sylvania Silverstar headlights but I'm not sure how to replace my original headlights with these. The manual doesn't say anything about how to replace the lights. I was told by someone that you should not touch the glass surface of the lights. So basically what I'm saying is what is the best way to replace my headlights without touching the glass surface of the headlight???

Use alcohol to clean it to make sure there is no fingerprint on it.
It should be very easy to install it without touching the glass.
I installed the fog light (same part#9006) too, because it looks
Cool when headlight and fog light are matching. Good luck.

the driver side headlight should be very easy to replace, unplug and plug. If you want to keep the fingerprints off use a dry cloth or paper towel... The passenger side is a pain... You have to unscrew the windshield wiper fluid container and squeeze your hand in there to remove the light. First time pulling those oem headlights can be tough but once its out its very easy to replace again. Be very careful and good luck

Just hold the new bulb by the plastic base. You dont need to touch the glass part at all.

try to use a clean cloth when you're replacing your lights, this will lessen the chances of getting finger prints on it. if you still fell like not doing it, have your lexus dealer advise you or have it done at a shop.
