I did a motor swap and just unbolted axels from transfer case. Now that everything back together no drive. I hear the shafts just spinning. When the axel shafts bolted back to transfer case is there something special that needs to be done?

What do you mean ‘unbolted?’ After removing my axle from the hub I ‘withdrew’ my axle from the transfer case.

The shafts need to click in the transmission. if there is binding on the wheel side the engine would have to produce tremendous power to spin the wheels. You can check if the wheels spin free in "N".
