rx300 cant move drive but reverse only
my rx 300 Lexus falling move in drive but reverse only drive sounds like neutral av changed over 3 gearboxes now please help me soult it this problem
Sorry to hear this. A good number of transmission failures reported the same symptom you describe and the common solution is to replace the transmission or rebuild it. Best would be check the fluid level and condition and take the vehicle to a trusted transmission mechanic.

My bad. I think the remedy should come from the folks who have done the 3 changes. Although I did not encounter transmission failure, but I would be reluctant to take a used transmission. Refurbished or getting it repaired ... both with upgraded components is must .. that is if the problem is with the transmission. After the 2nd failure, I would have very low confidence in the shop.
I am also not sure about the ability of getting the transmission overhauled in the city the OP resides. Auto trans require clean environment facility.
My apologies for not reading the post right in the first place.

Since none of us could see your vehicle in person, we are limited to making guesses (hopefully educated
) about the strange behavior of the transmission / gear box.
Was it the same shop, the same people who did all 3 of the change-outs? I would press them to try harder, if they are not doing the job correct.
When they make the changes, were you alerted at any time by those people to the presence of any metallic shaving / metallic fragments in the transmission oil?
Just to confirm, are they using new transmission oil each time of changing the machine, or maybe they kept and re-used the old oil?
If I am understanding correct what you wrote, you say that when you shift on Drive, the transmission does nothing, like it was on Neutral.
What happens if you shift to Drive but enabled ECT Snow? This makes the transmission start off in second instead of first gear.

This is just my "shot in the dark", so to speak.
Is there any way you can have it confirmed that the transmission machine is responding to the gear selector lever? I mean that, when you shift the physical level from Park to Drive, does the transmission also understand to move from dis-engaged position to engaged to drive forward? I am guessing here, but if the people who did all these replacements, have missed some electrical connection, there fore the transmission does not respond to the driver selection of D on the gear lever. Hence the transmission acting like Drive was never engaged.
For me, personally, it is astonishing to hear that the entire transmission was replaced not one, not two, but three times and the issue persists. While I suppose it is within the realm of possibility that all three transmissions had the same exact fault, it seems that the probability would be very, very low. Unless, as Salimshah pointed out, it happened that you have had all this work done at the same shop and they just do not have knowledge / resources of sufficient quality.
I realize you may be limited in options in your country. But is there any chance you could find another shop in any other major city near you?
Perhaps there may be a better chance of finding a repair man who knows what he is doing and can do this work on Toyota transmissions.

Same issue, however no power to drivetrain even in Reverse. This happened after adding a small amount of Lucas Transmission Fix Fluid Tranny was solid besides minor slipping, fluid levels and eye-check of dipstick was clean looking.
15-20 mins after adding the Lucas additive, suddenly and no power to "drivetrain" (?). Parting my ignorance, but essentially:
Is there any chance i could be dealing with a repair short a 2000-3000 transmission replacement? Something that would justify me bothering to drop the pan and flush and check for things short of major labor? Or is that just a waste of time and money.
Perhaps something related to a filter, solenoid, or some form of clogging or distribution where the fluid isnt circulating properly or reaching parts of the tranny or drivetrain?
Car is undriveable and must be towed to any service garage. I just wonder if theres a potential reason why this Lucas Fix could have "caused" some thing to breakdown or break to explain no power to drivetrain.
such as solenoids? Or linkage? Or gearbox?

- There was power to the drivetrain(?). ItAIt was like being in Neutral or disengage and wouldn't move in R, D, 1, 2 at all. The engine still revs
- The car rolls without any impedance when in Neutral
