Remote door fob
Yesterday my remote door lock fobs stooped working. I checked the fuse and it is good. I can still unlock the car with the key but I can't lock or unlock with the key buttons on either of the keys that I have. Any Ideas of where to start on this?

If the switch on the inside front doors work then I would check the key-fob. Make sure the red led shines bright when you press any key on the fob. The battery has 3-5yrs life. Pocket lint also gets in and cleaning may be required. Check the DIY section or check posts by hyperwish.

I tried two different key that worked a few days ago. The settings that you refer to, are they done on the radio? Where can I find info on this?

The door lock that does not work from the inside button ---> search on door lock actuator.
I would highly recommend not to reprogram the key remote. Start by replacing the battery of the key FOB.
First gen RX had CBEST settings but they are for actual locking options.

Check your rear hatch and see if you can turn the lock with your key. The lock could be frozen and preventing the remote FOB from working. Also which door is broken?

When I replaced the drivers door lock actuator the two rods got rotated over each other. This has caused one of the rods to not go into full travel when you use the key. I used the key the other day and apparently the lock stopped part way causing my issue. This afternoon I tried the key a few times and it corrected the problem and now the key buttons work again. I need to take the door apart and straighten out the rods.

Just remember to take the panel off. Nothing worse than door which is stuck closed with the panel on the door.
