Door lock actuators
I've been searching for some rear door lock actuators, but I've found there are 2, 4, and 6 pin all advertised for this model. I'm understanding that the front can be 4 or 6 pin, and the rear 2 or 4 pin. How can you tell without removing the panel? I only want to remove the panel once when I go to replace them because they never go back together quite the same. I don't want to remove one just to see what I need to order.
I'm suspecting 4 pin due to having both a key fob and drivers door switch that actuate the locks. What I usually do when looking for parts is look on RockAuto because even if I don't order there, I can trust the parts available and the part numbers to search elsewhere. But in this case, only the drivers door actuator is available and is a 6 pin. |
Those actuators are rebuildable for a fraction of the cost. Check out the DIY section.
