Took my car out to the beach this weekend
My car is old and I already bought a replacement car. But it has a tow hitch and traditional AWD with a center diff compared to my current hybrid AWD system. So, I take it out when going up to the mountains or going to the beach taking my bikes on the bike rack connected to the tow hitch. Sure, it's a bit slow compared to the newer cars and the bluetooth system..... well, doesn't exist. But the stereo sounds excellent, has great supportive seats, good traction, and has room for 4 full sized (read: fat) adults and even 5 sometimes and their stuff. The new cars have less headroom in the back, has jiggly ride due to lower profile tires, and is, in general, less robust in terms of build quality.
I do have some known issues on the car. Valve cover gasket is leaking to a point of dropping about 3 drops of oil per week or so if the car is stationary. There is about 1 inch tear on the side of the driver's seat and center differential bushing is old. Otherwise, the car is in good shape.
I just thought I'd share as the car brought smile to my face driving it around this weekend even if the weather at the beach dropped down to the 50's......

No need to live without Bluetooth. Add a GROM Bluetooth adapter, it's a really nice upgrade.
