Default New to site- looking for roof rack part

Just signed up to site hoping to keep my 2001 RX300 on the road for a few more years. Have 125,000 miles on it and she’s still running strong!
i took off the roof racks a few years ago and now can’t seem to find the (4)brace/brackets that the handled bolts secure to. I have an old 69 Dart as well and think it got thrown into a parts bucket and misplaced.

Anybody here have access to these or know where I might be able to find them?
I have the handled bolts- need the 4 brackets

Any help greatly and thanks for great site. D

Mannn...thats a tough one.
Ebay might be your best bet on those.
A new one at the dealer might cost even more if they are even available.

Welcome to CL.

I would suggest salvage yards.

You can check with 'lkq', as they have quite a few Lexus models.

You can have one fabricated too ... just take the one in hand as a sample. Sheet metal (preferably galvanized), break (or even vise with hammer), drill, file and tap. Dont forget to paint.

Thanks... yea I’ve looked on EBay and only full used rack sets avail. Was thinking of trying to make my own but gonna reach out to some salvage yards first. If anyone has a set laying around let me know.

Much easier if you want to buy. The site is more restrictive if you want to sell .. you need to establish history ... not a fool proof method, but we try to protect the members.

Dang -- our local Wrench'n'Go just had a '99 which they have sent to the crusher. I salvaged as much as I thought I could use from the vehicle first. If they still had it, I'd get the pieces you need.
