2000RX radiator fans?
I’m so happy to have found this site. My neighbors thought I’d finally lost my mind when I took the insides apart to replace the Servos to give me heat but I’ve succeeded and now I’m really paying attention to what’s going on with my RX with 180,000 miles.
Its running a little rough and the temp gage was slightly above normal so I opened the hood and noticed that the top radiator belt is completely collapsed. The radiator is full, as well as the overflow and I’ve replaced the radiator cap and no change. I don’t believe the fans are working at all but I can’t tell when they are supposed to work or which ones do what. Should I start with a flush? New fuses? I would like to get a lot more life out of the old girl so I don’t want to damage it’s engine.

Not sure what you mean by running rough. Unless you have cooling modifications and some additives, slightly above the middle line is normal. Were you getting a check engine light code?

They could be a blockage in the system, but when the coolant gets old this can sometimes happen. At 180K, that would be around the time you would do the timing belt for a second time and also would need to dump the coolant to do the water pump. An old hose can also be a problem.
In my RX300, I use 3 bottles of Redline WaterWetter, TRD low-temp thermostat and Tom's High Pressure Radiator Cap and my temp gauge is always in the middle.
