Default Need help identifying transmission solenoid part numbers

Hello,

Happy New Year!! Wishing you a happy and healthy new year ahead. I need some help identifying parts that I am planning to buy, preferably online.

I have a 2002 Lexus RX 300 FWD, with about 185000 miles on it. I purchased it at 125k miles and touch wood it has had no major issues.

The transmission has not been flushed at least since I have had it i.e between 125k-185k miles.

Unfortunately, last week, my car was jerking when driving at times, and it worsened over the week, luckily I got it home and have parked it there.

My mechanic friend who has a very high priced, professional OBD II reader which does other things as well, found the following codes.....

P0765 Shift Solenoid "D" Fault

and P0770 Shift Solenoid "E" Fault

My mechanic friend checked the transmission fluid with the dipstick and did not see any metal shavings any burnt smell etc, he said the transmission fluid looked good.

It seems like I should order the solenoids, but I am not sure what part numbers I need?

Does anyone know which solenoid part numbers they are?

I also believe, I will need solenoid filers, a filter for the transmission, transmission fluid - how much transmission fluid do I need?? and a gasket, I think that is all he said..

The car does move, it is just not electronically shifting gears, for example, it is not going into second gear.

Any advice you have on dealing with this issue is welcome.

Thank you
