I just noticed that the passenger side mirror no longer works . The drivers side is still working perfectly. Wha could be wrong?

Start by checking presence of voltage at the mirror motor end as to operate the switch. Then narrow down to actual motor {on the far end) or the switch - connectors wires on the sending side.

If you are not getting up/down out/in then there can be mechanical binding.

Last of all song forget to go over and work done in the past ... connector loose etc.

Sorry my post had too many self corrections (I guess it still made sense to you).

That said, I am amazed at finding out a broken wire. This is not expected. There is supposed to be a strain relief (tie down) to ensure the actual conductor is not under tension. Once repair is done it typically reduces the length of the the wire and then it can be under tension (susceptible to breakage).

Hope your repair stays good for a long time.
