Default AWD RX300 forgot to drain front differential

I dropped the transmission pan and filled the oil . But forgot to drain front differential .
if I drain it now and add the t-iv oil equal to oil came out through dipstick.
Is it ok ? or it does not matter now since it circulate through trany pan and the oil change I did already circulating in front differential?

By not draining, you left a portion that could have been drained out. When you added the new got mixed to the old (in that area) and after you started the engine everything is mixed up. If you did a drain and fill (which includes dropping the pan), a good portion of the old fluid remained in the plumbing, chambers and torque convertor. So the fretting up was slightly less than what you could have done. But some what significant.

If I were you, I will wait for the next drain and fill.

According to post#46 in this thread, the front differential only holds 0.5 liters of ATF. But that old fluid in there should have already mixed with the rest of the new ATF if you have driven it for a while after the ATF change.

It might be interesting to drain it now and see if the differential fluid looks different from the fluid on the dipstick.

Thanks for the response
I also did not do the flush from cooler line.
I don't want to drop the pan again, is it good idea just drain the trany oil from drain plug, drain the differential, refill with 5 qt through dip hole.
disconnect cooler line start the engine and let the dirty oil run, stop the engine refill the trany oil .
need you advise

You will get all sorts of advice on this. So choose carefully.

My suggestion is to do drain an fills only and do the next drop after another 110K miles. Frequency of drain and fill should be 15k miles.

I used the Toyota T-IV oil and don't mind just draining it out just to do it right.
Also I read some postings saying move to Amsoil synthetic. I called Amsoil and they say it is ok to mix it with T-IV (drain and fill) and after 3-4 drain and fill it will be 80% new oil. can someone confirm

They mix. I think it gets to around 75% after 3 times.
